supa.place covers processing, buyers pay no fee.
No hidden fees. The only charges on supa.place are the seller platform fee and the optional Diamond subscription. supa.place covers payment processing, so buyers are never surcharged at checkout.
Seller platform fee
Your platform fee is based on your Seller Tier. The more you sell and contribute, the less you pay (a percentage of the product price plus a small fixed amount). supa.place covers payment processing out of its own margin, so it is not deducted from you or charged to the buyer.
| Tier | Transaction fee |
|---|---|
| Bronze | 4.5% + $2.50 |
| Silver | 4.25% + $2.25 |
| Gold | 4% + $2.00 |
| Platinum | 3.75% + $1.75 |
| Diamond | 3.5% + $1.50 |
Subscription payments
Some products are sold as a recurring subscription: the buyer is charged on a set schedule (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, or annually) for continued access, and you are paid on each successful charge.
The first charge of a subscription carries your standard tier platform fee, exactly like a one-time sale. Every renewal after that is charged a reduced platform fee: the percentage stays the same as your tier, but the fixed component drops by A$1.00. So you keep more of every recurring payment for the life of the subscription.
| Tier | First charge | Each renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 4.5% + $2.50 | 4.5% + $1.50 |
| Silver | 4.25% + $2.25 | 4.25% + $1.25 |
| Gold | 4% + $2.00 | 4% + $1.00 |
| Platinum | 3.75% + $1.75 | 3.75% + $0.75 |
| Diamond | 3.5% + $1.50 | 3.5% + $0.50 |
Renewals are charged automatically using the buyer's saved payment consent. If a renewal fails, we retry a few times before the subscription is cancelled and access ends. Refund and chargeback liability on a subscription charge works exactly as it does for a one-time sale (see below).

Payment processing
All payments are handled securely by Airwallex. supa.place covers card-processing costs out of its own margin, so buyers are never surcharged: the buyer pays the list price and nothing more, regardless of the card's type or country.
There is no buyer processing fee on supa.place. The seller payout is unaffected; the platform absorbs the processing cost.
Airwallex's processing rates are subject to change. See airwallex.com/au/pricing for the latest rates.
Currency & transactions
To keep pricing consistent for everyone, all transactions on supa.place are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). This avoids the currency-conversion fee charged when settling between currencies, and the saving is passed back to sellers.
We display prices in your preferred local currency for convenience, but the final charge is always in AUD. Your bank may apply a foreign-exchange (FX) fee depending on its policies, check directly with your bank for international transaction rates.
Payouts
Once your sales clear the refund window, your available balance is paid out automatically to your bank account on a regular schedule, in your local payout currency.
A payout runs only when your available balance reaches at least $10.00 (the equivalent of A$10). If your balance is below that it simply rolls over and is paid out as soon as a later sale takes you past the threshold. This keeps a payout from being eaten up by bank transfer and currency-conversion costs.
Important, read before selling
Creator refund & chargeback liability
As a creator on supa.place, you are fully responsible for all refunds and payment disputes arising from your sales, including chargebacks initiated by buyers through their card issuer.
01
How a refund is split
When you approve a refund, the buyer is refunded the product price. Your share of the refund is your net from the sale, the product price minus the platform fee that applied at the time of purchase, and is deducted from your supa.place balance. The platform refunds the platform-fee remainder out of its own balance, so you never pay back more than you actually received. Because the buyer pays no processing fee at checkout, a full refund returns the entire amount they were charged.
02
Refund offset against future payouts
If your balance is insufficient to cover your share of the refund, the platform will front it to the buyer on your behalf. The amount fronted is recorded as an outstanding balance on your account and will be automatically withheld from your next payout until the debt is cleared. Your balance is replenished by future sales or by waiting for pending funds to clear.
03
Negative balance
If refunds exceed your cumulative earnings, your account balance may go negative. You remain liable for the outstanding amount. Future sales earnings will be applied to clear the negative balance before any new payouts are released to you.
04
Fund withholding for high-risk accounts
If your account shows a pattern of elevated refunds, chargebacks, or disputes, we reserve the right to place a hold on some or all of your pending payouts while we investigate. Funds may be withheld for up to 180 days in line with our payment provider's reserve policies. We will notify you if a hold is applied.
05
Chargebacks
If a buyer disputes a charge with their card issuer, you remain responsible for the disputed sale, and we may recover the disputed amount from your balance or withhold it from future payouts. As required by the Terms of Service, every listing must publish a clear refund policy. Combined with accurate product descriptions, this is the most effective way to minimise dispute risk.
