Is supa.place free to join?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creating an account is free for both buyers and sellers, and listing a product is free too. Sellers pay a platform fee on each sale that decreases as you climb the tier ladder (Bronze → Platinum), and the optional Diamond Subscription, a monthly plan, unlocks the lowest fees and the highest file-size limit.

What can I sell on supa.place?

Digital goods only: design assets, code, templates, courses, ebooks, audio, fonts, presets and similar files you have the rights to sell. Prohibited categories include pirated or counterfeit content, age-restricted material, services, gift cards, regulated financial products or investment schemes, malware/exploits and leaked data. How do I receive my purchases?

You download them: from your library if you have an account, or from your receipt email if you checked out as a guest. Your files are ready as soon as payment clears, and a receipt is emailed to you automatically. In your library at /dashboard/library, one-off purchases don’t expire, so you can re-download them at any time, and a subscription gives access until the end of the period you have paid for. Guest buyers get a secure download link for each product in their receipt email. It expires 30 minutes after the email is sent, and a fresh one can be requested from the product page with the same email at any time.

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit and debit cards work everywhere, and depending on your device, browser and country, checkout may also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or Klarna. You are charged in your own currency: products are priced in Australian Dollars (AUD) and converted at the payment step at a mid-market rate with no mark-up hidden inside it, so the total you confirm is exactly what you are charged. supa.place covers card processing out of its own margin, so there is no processing surcharge whatever card or country you use. supa.place settles in AUD, so where your card is charged in any other currency a 2% currency conversion fee applies, charged at cost and shown as its own line before you pay. How do seller fees work?

Each sale carries a platform fee, and it gets smaller as your tier rises. It is 4.5% + A$2.00 at Bronze, 4.25% + A$1.75 at Silver, 4% + A$1.50 at Gold and 3.75% + A$1.25 at Platinum, and the Diamond Subscription drops it to 3.5% + A$1.00. On a low-priced item the fixed amount is cut to 10% of the price, but not below A$0.50: an A$10 item at Bronze pays A$1.00 instead of A$2.00. supa.place covers payment processing, so buyers pay no processing fee and no processing cost is deducted from you. One thing does add to the percentage: supa.place holds AUD only, so if you are paid out in any other currency the cost of converting it is added, 0.5% for the major currencies and 1% for the rest. Subscription renewals after the first carry a lower fixed amount, except on a low-priced subscription where the cap already cuts both charges to the same amount. When and how do I get paid?

Payouts go to your own bank account. Each sale is held for 7 days, then you withdraw your available balance from the Payouts area of your dashboard whenever you like. If you would rather not do it by hand, you can turn on automatic payouts there and pick how often you are paid. Buyers are charged in their own currency; your earnings are held in AUD and converted to your payout currency when you withdraw. A payout needs an available balance of at least A$10, and your balance and transaction history are in your seller dashboard too.

What’s the file size limit for products?

Every seller tier from Bronze to Platinum gets 5 GB per product, and Diamond (or any tier with an active Diamond Subscription) gets 10 GB. Free products are capped at 500 MB and pay-what-you-want products at 1 GB. You can include up to 100 files per product.

What pricing models can I use, and can I run sales?

There are five pricing models, and yes, you can run sales on fixed-price listings. You can choose fixed pricing, tiered pricing, pay-what-you-want (with optional minimum), free, or subscription. Tiers are independent, so a single tiered product can mix one-off tiers with recurring ones on their own billing frequency. You can also schedule percentage or fixed-amount discounts with custom start and end times from your dashboard. Discounts apply to fixed-price listings only, not to tiered, subscription, free or pay-what-you-want ones.

What’s the refund policy?

Each product shows its own refund policy. Sellers choose a window of 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days, set a custom one, or offer no self-service refunds, and whatever the policy, products that are faulty, corrupted or not as described are always refundable. You request a refund from the actions menu on the product page. If the seller has not decided within 14 days, the request comes to supa.place automatically, and if a seller declines you can ask supa.place to review it from Refund History. Chargebacks remain the seller’s responsibility, and any negative balance is recovered from future sales.

Are payments and identity secure?

All payments run through Stripe (PCI Level 1 certified), so your card details never touch our servers. Every new seller verifies their identity (legal name, a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie) and can list nothing until it passes. Two-factor authentication (TOTP) is supported for every account, and email verification is required before you can sell.
