Joining and listing are free. You pay the platform fee only when you make a sale, it drops as your seller tier rises, and we pay the payment processing out of it. Payouts go to your own bank account. Every fee is published on the Fees page.
Every seller is identity-verified before they can receive payouts. A government-issued photo ID and liveness check, plus sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening. Businesses are additionally checked against the company register, including their key people.
Why sell on supa.place
Paid to your own bank
We pay out by local bank transfer in 103 countries and territories, in your payout currency. Each sale is held for 7 days, then you withdraw whenever you like, or turn on automatic payouts.
We handle VAT
supa.place is the merchant of record. Where VAT applies, we add it at checkout, issue the tax invoice and pay it, so it isn't your job. You look after your own income and business taxes.
Buyers pay their way
Buyers see prices in their own currency and pay by card, or with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or Klarna where their device and country offer them. Most products can be bought as a guest with just an email.

Refunds on fair terms
You set each product's refund policy and decide most requests yourself. A refund only takes back your share of the sale, because we give up our fee too.

How our fees compare
We pay the payment processing. Wherever you sell from, it comes out of our own fee on every sale, so it is never deducted from you or charged to your buyer. Etsy, and Gumroad on a direct sale, charge you for it on top of their fees.
At Platinum, and on the Founder tier, you pay less on each of these sales than on Etsy, Gumroad, Creative Market or Envato Market. A sale our marketplace brings you costs the same as any other, while Gumroad takes 30% of a sale its Discover marketplace brings.

Each platform's published fees for one sale in US dollars, before any tax, paid by card, to a seller in the United States who is paid in US dollars, checked on 14 October 2026. Our fee is set in Australian dollars, so each price is converted at A$1.4331 to the US dollar, the European Central Bank reference rate for 13 October 2026, and our fee back at the same rate. It includes the 0.5% added to our percentage when you are paid out in US dollars; paid out in AUD, nothing is added, and in other currencies 0.5% (major currencies) or 1% (others).
Etsy: 6.5% transaction fee, 3% + US$0.25 payment processing and US$0.20 listing fee per sale. That processing fee is its rate for a bank account in the United States; in most other countries it is 4% to 6.5%.
Gumroad: 10% + US$0.50 per direct sale and 2.9% + US$0.30 card processing. Once your paid sales in a calendar month reach US$20,000, its fee on later direct sales that month is 5% + US$0.50.
Gumroad via Discover: 30% when a new customer finds you on Discover, processing included.
Creative Market: 50% commission by default. Its rate varies by shop and product. It also charges the buyer a platform fee on each order.
Envato Market: 50% author fee. It also adds a buyer fee to each item's price.
Charges to buyers are left out for every platform. On supa.place, a buyer paying in a currency other than AUD pays a 2% conversion fee, shown before they pay.
At Platinum, the US$10 sale in the table leaves you US$8.70, and a buyer paying in US dollars pays US$10.20 for it, conversion fee included. A price you type in a currency other than AUD already includes that fee for buyers paying in that currency: type US$10 and they pay US$10.00, so your sale is about 2% smaller than the table's and you keep about 2% of the price less. To match the table, type the price 2% higher.
Every seller starts at Bronze; the tiers are just below. Platinum needs 200 lifetime sales, at least 10 ratings with an average above 4.5 stars, and a refund rate under 10%. Founder is our founding-seller tier.

- Ensure your products deliver clear value and meet the quality promised in your listings.
- Give buyers more than the cover, gallery and preview show for free, such as the full files, source files, or a licence to use the work.
- Produce your products to high standards and provide updates when appropriate.
- Provide accurate and detailed descriptions, including usage rights and refund policies.
- Say so in the listing when a product is wholly or substantially generated by AI.
- Ensure all products, listings, and marketing comply with marketplace terms and applicable laws.
The don'ts
- List unauthorised, pirated, or counterfeit content, including resale of others' work without a valid licence.
- Launch products containing age-restricted, sexually explicit, or NSFW content.
- List services such as credit repair, web hosting, or event tickets.
- Sell gift cards or unlicensed software.
- Sell malware, exploits, credential dumps, or tools built for unauthorised access to systems or data.
- Offer regulated financial products, securities or investment schemes, or personalised financial, investment or tax advice.
- Promote violence, discrimination, threats, or animal cruelty.
- List stolen goods, personal data, leaked or confidential data, or any item that violates our standards or the law.
